Partnership for Missional Church

At the congregational meeting this past Sunday, the elders asked the question: "Where will we be when we get where we're going?" That's an important question for congregations to ask, especially in times of change. As a congregation, we are in a time of transition. The world around us has changed, and, even in the midst of some great stability, we have experienced a lot of changes in our congregation.

We are currently exploring several options to help us discern how to move forward as a congregation with the help of God's Spirit. One of the options that we are considering is Partnership for Missional Church (PMC). PMC is a journey of congregational spiritual formation and discernment. If we decide to commit to the PMC journey, we would join a cluster of 10-12 congregations from Churches of Christ in southeast Michigan and Ontario on a three-year journey to discern our own unique identity as God's people and to learn how God might be calling us to join the Spirit's work in north Oakland County.
